A minimum of eight hours are spent sleeping at the client’s home by the care assistant, who is also on call in case of emergency. If you don't need ongoing assistance, but feel uneasy being left alone all night, this alternative may be right for you.

Waking night
A minimum of eight hours are spent overnight with the carer on duty. If you wake up at regular intervals throughout the night to change position due to an injury or if you must administer medication at regular intervals, this is likely the best option.
